Description
The game is a parody of Cooking Mama about cooking hormones. I go into more detail about the game and each track's purpose in the soundtrack's liner notes (on bandcamp or the itch download).

This soundtrack is a multi-genre/postmodernist collection of (mostly-individual) pieces with a heavy emphasis on vocals. I am a singer-songwriter, and wanted to take advantage of that here. Lyrics allow me to give meaning to a non-existent game — where dialog/exposition could've existed. I used FL Studio 21 to write and produce it. My instrumentality is typically a combination of synthetic and recorded instruments with a lot of digital manipulation applied regardless of source, often focusing on timbre.

Message from the artist:
Trans rights are human rights.

Theme:

Tick Tock...
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
Cooking Caregiver doubly fits the theme by not only tackling the timer-infested task of cooking — but also by acting as a lighthearted & allegorical perspective on how trans people will go to great lengths to avoid waiting their whole lives for gender-affirming care.

I impressed your concept of this album, it's so great .

I love how experimental and sporadic (in a good way) the soundtrack can feel sometimes. Felt like if the vocals were mixed just a bit further into the background, then it'd be perfect for a soundtrack. As song versions, these are quite some distinctive yet weird bops.

I loved Cooking Mama back in the day haha, and this was such an innovative way to parody it! Appreciate you bringing attention to important issues through song. You had great melodies and beats - and kudos for writing lyrics and using your own vocal tracks too! Nice work.

It's great that you're using this occasion to speak about meaningful themes. I think it's great in any occasion anyway. But here the spirit of the event invites focusing on the details, so you gave the chance to focus on a theme that one (me) might be ignorant about. I really appreciate this.

Also, the lyrics of Blocker Blues are great, short but enough to deliver a big message.

Well done!

It's very refreshing to hear songs in a video game context, especially a jam, and ESPECIALLY more than one! I like your voice, and especially your lower register, and i think both your vocal and instrumental melodies are very good, and you seem to be a very good songwriter!

I think it's great how you took the silly platform of a cooking mama parody to tackle such an important issue, and i think it makes this project much greater than the sum of it's parts.

Great job!

Thank you so much!!

There are some boring parts in some tracks cause of too much repetations of the same fragments, otherwise it's nice music and the vocal tracks are fine, well done!
