You could call it fantasy folk, this track is most appropriate as a character or environment theme. I used Logic Pro.

How does it fit the theme?
I used ethereal sounding synthesisers to represent the alien-esque environment. A laid-back but slightly driving drum beat comes in to represent the character running through a mystical forest. The music isn't dark or ominous in any way, to convey that the character isn't necessarily in danger, just trying to get away.
