Description
Game description:
Platform game with y2k and Asethetic elements inspired by Japan PS1 style in 2000.
You play as a rabbit (an ordinary citizen of a megalomaniacal city) ... who lives in his modest apartment and drinks his favorite carrot energy drink. His day is another one of those boring ordinary days, but one day an accident happens in the city.
In the local laboratory center, where a prominent scientist made a serum of happy and cheerful mood, but during the transfer of the serum, he accidentally tripped and broke the flasks containing the serum with other substances, and due to this, a giant purple smoke is created, which gradually begins to spread around the city.
The gas spreads through sewers, streets, buildings and also into our rabbit's apartment. This gas, due to the mixing of undesirable substances, causes hallucinations and a loss of perception of reality.
The rabbit watches his apartment, which begins to change before his eyes. The walls move, the floor sinks or rises, and the dimensions of the entire apartment change.
The goal of the rabbit is to carefully get to the various water and gas shut-offs or plug the various holes where the purple smoke would escape.
The rabbit will also face random chasms, living objects, or physical changes like levitation, wall walking, perspective change, all within a time limit as the gas spreads and fills the rooms. -- in short, a tough hallucinatory adventure.
The same situation takes place in the streets, in shopping centers, between buildings. Pure public panic.
During the game, the rabbit can collect cans with carrot energy drink, which will help him overcome obstacles much faster.
This platform game is still in motion. The rabbit will usually run further and further away trying to avoid contact with the purple gas.
If the rabbit successfully closes all critical points in the city, it will save the city from the spread of a poisonous, hallucinogenic substance.
Even though the game has a disaster genre, the game has a rather Happy / cheerful aesthetic and the music is in a similar mood.

Love the retro vibes, those full extended chords, and of course the art!
Omg your style is so sick! This is incredible, I love this aesthetic so much.
This entire OST is phenomenal!
I wish I could offer some constructive criticism, but honestly nothing really comes to mind. The composition, mixing, sampling and overall vibe of each track is really outstanding. Everything just fits together in a really cohesive way and the overall aesthetic has this great laid-back but energetic duality.
Really great job here! 5/5!
Awesome. From just the music and the art you created, I can feel like I'm playing this game already. It makes me feel like it's Saturday evening fifteen ago and we're checking out games on his playstation.
Main theme - Definitely got that ps game vibe. Very good. Sounds very professional.
Level One - That chord sound you open with immediately nails that playstation game vibe yet again. Great percussion that follows. Wow, great synthwork later on in the track, with that mellow amen jamming along to it all. Definitely going on my regular rotation this one.
Level Two - Nice. I'm guessing this level is already quite a lot harder than the previous one. I almost feel like we should be riding some sort of hoverboard or some other device to somehow move faster in this level than in the previous. Great work!!
Level Three - Funky vibe man. Love the beat in this one. I quite like the airy synths you hammer out everywhere here.
Level Four - Great track yet again.
Result Screen - It sounds exactly how I'd expect. Can just imagine browsing through scores here. Love how the amen break is chittering away again. It's definitely there, giving some nice pace, but not too in your face. Exactly how I'd expect! Love those airy pads again. :D
Y'know what's funny. All throughout the tracks (I hadn't checked out the screenshots yet), I was like: this sounds like it came out of a tracker. I don't know what gave it away, probably the excellent use of breakbeats and syncopation. And just a general "feel"... I also love the samples you used. Where are they from? I think I need some samples like this in my life.
Anyways, absolutely fantastic work. I think Level 1, 2 and 4 are my favourite in the soundtrack, but really, all of it is amazing work.
Thanks a lot for the wonderful commentary and analysis of individual tracks.
I'm trying to make the tracks look like they came from the PSF format (for example the whole Ape Escape 1 OST ) -- which is pretty similar to any Music Tracker.
At the same time, I try not to make some tracks sound too much like a tracker. I love experimenting in OpenMPT and I'm having a lot of fun doing it.
Well, keep doing what you're doing, because it sounds great. I love this kind of music.
ok, cool art: check
ps1 aesthetic: check
well mixed and fun sounds: check
you created something very cool, I'm vibin
Well, that is definitely a well thought out premise for a game, and original to boot! And the graphics/images accompanying are brilliant, I can't highlight enough how well I feel you have presented this soundtrack and its 'game' to us. Totally well done. Solid tracks to - I especially liked the vibe on 'Result Screen' with the 'ow ow ow' sounds (what were they?).
Vibin'! Fantastic sound, Main Theme is dope, so dreamy, yet cool.
And game sounds interesting, wanna play it! ^_^
The quality of these tracks is simply amazing! The effects, fills, timbres... everything is in the right place! This is really so professional. Congratulations, dude! PS1 pure 😁
Great aesthetic and good pieces all around. Good job!
Track 1: What an excellent mix-- this just felt good to listen to! The melody was super catchy and I loved each little nuanced moment. Lots of attention to detail here!
Track 2: another really awesome little mix! While I am usually not a fan of tracks that repeat the same four chords over and over again, it fits this genre really nicely-- and there is such extensive variation over those chords, it works really really nicely. This is top-notch stuff, ready to be sent off to the club.
Track 3: it really is just banger after banger, huh? Yet another killer track... despite each one feeling really unique, these tracks are undeniably similar and cohesive. This one definitely has the I-am-tripping-on-a-skyscraper vibes to it... love it!
Track 4: still doing great-- no feedback, pretty great!
Track 5: this is the most different track for sure, and it's a welcome change in tone, even if it's not too much of a difference.
All in all, each track is fantastic-- and because you're so darn good, I can't even be nitpicky-- there's almost nothing to nitpick here. It's really good stuff! Maybe each track could be a little shorter, but I think at 35 soundtracks rated today, I just have a low attention span XD seriously, keep up the good work, amazing job my friend!!!
I love the rabbit character! The cover art is phenomenal, aesthetic is great. Great work overall. Listened to it all with the art pieces on screen and imagined the game in my head, was very immersed in it all, felt like I was playing the game.
The cover art accompanied with these masterpieces is on a level on its own. Fantastic!
Every track on this is a banger! Love that PS1 aesthetic so much, especially mixed with breakcore! Well done!
