Description
This is a collection of tracks made for an imaginary game called Seasons Past.
Seasons Past is a game about an old man who has lost his wife and become depressed, but after remembering about all the good year's/season's they've had together, he finally comes to terms with the death of his wife.
I used Cubase as my DAW.
Tracklist:
1. Funeral (This would play at the start of the game, at the funeral of the old mans wife)
2. Memories (This would play as the old man remembers different seasons/times they spent together)
3. Farewell (This would at the "climax" when the old man comes to terms with the loss of his wife)
4. Ending (This would play at the end of the game before fading to a credit's roll)
Message from the artist:
I took this jam as an opportunity to practice writing around 1 theme, so all the tracks are variations/based on a main theme for the game.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
I saw the picture theme as a person remembering past seasons and combined it with the theme "Story of Seasons" to come up with the concept for Season's Past's story and soundtrack.

Your use of major chords that interchange with minor chords and diminished chords in between set a bittersweet mood that I think accompanies your game idea very well. I appreciate the versatility in writing for pipe organ, synth/music box, and full string orchestra. Thank you for sharing!
I really liked each take on the same theme. This is something I’m working getting better at, and I think this is a great example of how to do it well!
Very cinematic - would suit the game that you have described (though it sounds quite intense - might not be one that I would play). Well done.
really nice! love the melancholic tones at the beginning and how it evolved throughout the soundtrack
it was really nice how the track Ending wraps it all up
The motif you created works very well and doesn't get old over the course of the tracks. I think this is a very solid entry, good job!
