This is a cracking read.
I like the point of view of a faction normally not considered the good guys (depending on your point of view) talking front and centre.
Good stuff!
Loved it! And very happy to see Ratmen Clans get some love.
Well I wasn't planning to make a ratmen army anytime soon BUT NOW HERE WE ARE! Great story. Really enjoyed it.
Very glad we didn't get a Secret of NIHM reference once the captain's name was mentioned, otherwise agree it was an original take on the rats as virtuous protagonists and glimpses of how they see enemies or allies, though the thematic use might have been more 'things just keep getting worse' versus difficult choices :)
A riveting and atmospheric space opera. The story effectively captures the essence of being caught "Between a Rock and a Hard Place," with the crew facing a dire situation and having to make heart-wrenching choices. The use of the rat race as protagonists gives it a unique twist.
Unflinching prose, excellent flow and a spotlight on the darling Rats of the universe. What’s not to love?
Very ratty narrative... No... NarRATive... Okay, I'll stop. Interesting take on the Rat peeps in all. I got to see the BB's as bad guys again which I also really love. Great stuff!
I really enjoyed this one - I'm a stickler for grammar, and there were no issues to ruin the flow and take me out of the (excellent) story. You did a great job introducing and developing Jezra in only a thousand words!
Wow. Not much to pick at on this one. Great little story with a clever conclusion. This one will be hard to top.
