Great story and well written.
I enjoy reading about individuals within the Grim Dark that have to navigate between the factions that are at war.

I hope you are referencing Dwarf Fortress in your comment. Whenever I see the word craftsdwarfship I can only think of dwarf fortress' artifacts.
I've been on a little DF kick since 2016. That world generator is just... Something else.
Wow. Best one so far. The story was really good and the character development was amazing for such a short piece. The main character embodied what a dwarf should be right down to his prized beard.
I have tried writing about a dozen of these one page stories in the last 3 months and the one thing I learned is how important it is to focus on an extremely bite sized story. For this one I tried to focus on the main character and his journey from point A to point B. I am glad that that translated into something you enjoyed.

I am glad you liked it. I thought it was kind of funny because I use the data reporting tool Tableau and had never even considered its other meanings until I saw it in the thesaurus.
