One of my favorites so far. Love the worldbuilding and all the neat little touches you left in (The Psalms of Kurzweil got a chuckle out of me). The story itself is also really well told. Solid stuff overall!

great story! felt like a horror story right at the end

Great read! Loved the world building and the characterization of the Machine Cult and Hive Lord. Everything felt seamless and immersive. Looking forward to what you'll write next!

Fun read, it seems once decided on the characters motivation you had to wordsmith the Quod erat faciendum conclusion of the Hive.

Sometimes killing your foe just isn't enough. I wonder if the Hive Lord got into the Cultist's body through some parasite, or whether the HL's body was just a vessel for its consciousness. Delightfully Grimdark.

I ran out of space to explain more clearly--it wasn't actually the Hive Lord the second time, it was a group of Shadow Hunters that stayed behind and gradually learned how to take over the base.

spectacular. Love the twist, love the quirks you gave the machine cult, love the brutal sarcasm on the Hive Lord's part.

The perspective was the best part of the story, you paced it very well. Well done.

Ok, just want to know if the lead’s name is a reference to Arther Clarke.

Great job on building the end sense of desperation.

Very atmospheric. Great job creating that tension at the end.
