Very cool! Great to see a faction not represented by a singular species.

Ouch. Poor DAO U. But keeping your mind on the goal is how to beat tough foes like the metal heads. Would have liked to have known at least a little more about the device though.

That last line was great!

I’ve seen a few heavy hitters, and it makes me want to do better with my next story’s ending so it stays with people better!

A pretty basic story, but a solid read.

A good enjoyable read, I think the McMuffin might have been emphasized a tad more to drive home the point of the sacrifice and I kept expecting Decoya to do something more at the end given the character detail (like surprise I’m not dead!bang bang!).I could easily see a follow on aftermath story to this for future jams.

I enjoy a good noble sacrifice tale, so I appreciated your work here on that level. I found the action hard to follow in parts - the descriptions are very dry and generic ('the squad' 'the elites'). More evocative language would better draw in your readers. You might also have engaged better with the theme - the story addresses more "strength vs. honor," or "strength vs. courage" rather than "strength vs. intelligence". I look forward to seeing more from you!

Great story, very grand scale. There were a few parts in the story that were somewhat clunky, but I enjoyed it.

Maybe I'm biased because I love the Dao haha. Great moment within a battle.

Nice read! Would like to see more development of the battle. Great work!

Great story! It needs a bit of polishing in terms of grammar, but I found it to be a very engaging read.
