I respect the hell out of what you're aiming for here - I suspect it won't do so well in the jam but it was a real highlight for me! The switch in perspective at the top of the third column (right as Lucretius drops the weight) was a little jarring to me, and I feel like it would have worked better in the same perspective as the rest of the piece, but coming across this one as one of the last in my rating queue makes me very glad I'm reading every entry. Well done!
Thank you for your kind words. I agree with you, I dont think it will and it certainly could have done with a lot more work - I was pressed for time and only had one evening to get it done - but it was a fun little challenge nonetheless.
I know it's supposed to be structured real particularly, but I still feel like using the expected punctuation and capital letters would've helped readibility. Other than the skill issue of me reading poems, it was an enjoyable little dwarf drama
At first I was like "these sentences don't make sense!", but then I realized it was one huge poem! I'm not knowledgeable in prose in poems, but this is the most original take so far. Very well done.
nicely done, It's really impressive to try such a hard format in such a short timeframe!
Poetic prose was not what I expected today, but a welcome surprise! Also, as the friend of an collegiate scholar of Arthurian lore, I liked the little Gawain reference in there. Your originality knocked it out of the park, writer. Well done!
Thank you, was nice to leave something in for people like yourself.
Very unique writting a poem. Very well written too!
Thank you for your kindness!
I love how this story is written as a poem and with iambic pentameter as well. It’s always great when authors push the format and make new things.
Thank you, thought I would try something different. Glad it worked out!
