This jam is now over. It ran from 2024-02-26 12:00:00 to 2024-03-03 15:00:00.
The offshore energies sector is inherently hazardous. Individuals can experience personal hazards that cause injury or harm frequently, such as trips and falling objects, while major accident hazards – such as energy leaks and structural instability – have a greater level of risk and consequence. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of all employees in offshore energy to follow processes in ensuring risks and hazard can be identified and that the safety of individuals can be preserved.
With a prize pot of £500 in vouchers up for grabs, this jam seeks to explore the development and use of games within the offshore energies sector to promote understanding and awareness of safety principles, provide training opportunities through games and play, and educate the energies sector on the hazards that they may face within the industry.
This event is delivered through Step Change in Safety, a not-for-profit organisation aiming to positively influence the offshore energy industry’s safety culture through leadership, collaboration, and workforce engagement.
