Nicely done! I enjoyed playing around with the different units. My winning strategy was a line of lance-orcs in the front, followed by a line of sword orcs, but separated by one tile so they don't instantly kill the front lines

Solid tactics board game. I really like all the art (environments and sprites), nice soundtrack. Fun to play with different unit setup. Very well done!
The art is cute. Reminds me a lot of a board game design I never really figured out years ago.
Love the art! The tilesets, animation and sound are all really good. The combat is really cool as well. Wasn't sure how balanced the score/winning conditions were but it was fun to see the fights. Nice work.
Thanks ! Tilesets and most of the sounds are not ours; I mainly made the characters, assembled the Tilesets on AseSprite and made the music on Cubase. But it all fits together and that’s cool ! Yes the balance is all over the place though xD
Cool spin on chess, definitely has a learning curve and higher levels are a challenge to beat. Best tactic is to teleport with a shaman to the right and kill enemies unable to turn back :D

another game that doesn't want to work for me from browser, i'll try it on a different system when i have time
Alright, tried on another machine and could play it. Though the battle I played went too long when all that was left was an enemy with a lance on a row that i had no heroes left and my archers could only hit him with a volley and ended up hitting themselves just as often. With a better thought out setup for battling this could do well.
Yeah that's the first thing I would try to fix if I'd continued to develop the game, some way to condense the game on the inner lanes as the game progresses to resolve these situations
Really nice and funny game, i only wish that there were more levels to try out some tactics (sending out 2 overpowered shamans to kick ass XD)
Haha, that’s the funniest tactic so far, we had plenty fun with it too xD It’s all or nothing :P
Mechanics were good, felt like the 'randomness' was a little bit of a miss sometimes. Like I was going to lose since I did a bad build but the enemy bowman did a special and basically wiped out their own team. Would love to see more levels with varying amounts of starting cash you can play around with!
Yes, we did commit to the “randomness” more than the tactics because that was chaotic fun, but we also felt that It can fall a bit short sometimes due to the lack of balance

This is really cool. Is the art all original? Impressive for only 7 days. I liked the references to the jam, too.
We used premade tiles for the ground and walls, the rest of the art is original by @EvilBunnyMan
