Incredibly fun game! I hadn't played something like spot the difference in a long time. Memory games are fun and I think you made something really neat! I also tried the alternate mode a little, and I like the idea of having a manually curated mode and a random mode for players who seek more and perhaps a more difficult challenge.
I do agree with other people about how to play not being quite clear at the start (it wasn't until I read a comment here that it clicked for me), but that's not too hard to address, and the core of the game is very enjoyable.
Once you understand how tò play Is a very fun! And very innovative! Great job man!
Took me a while to realize you had to hold down multiple keys at a time, but once I did I managed to get pretty far by using a nonsensical narrative I made up in my head. Although, I couldn't get the original board to show again by holding '1+2+3+4+0'.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback !
I also had problems getting my numpad registered with GDevelop, for this specific issue I think you have to hold them for a bit, for them register with the game engine
Really interesting concept for a game. I agree with some of the other comments that (in an ideal non-game jam world) there could be some ramp up that allows the player to get comfortable with the controls and the concept before jumping right in - but I totally understand that things like that can be impossible to think about during a jam.
All in all, really well done!
Thank you for playing !
After spending a week submerged in the game, I thought the beginning was clear... coming back to the game after a bit made me realized how the start of the game could throw off players and should have been simplier and clearer
Fun concept, and cool that you even included an alternative game mode!
The instructions melted my brain at first, but once I figured out you're supposed to press multiple keys at the same time, it all made sense :)
Thank you for playing :)
Cool idea for a puzzle game - the schematic / circuit board idea is a a great fit for 1 bit graphics! The explanation for the first mode could be a bit clearer but the alternate mode where you rotate the pieces and go against the clock clicked quickly and was a lot of fun. Good work!
Thank you for playing, yeah, I also realized how confusing the beginning is.
Happy to see, that you enjoyed it nonetheless :)
Sorry, I didn't get it. Every thing is going very fast at the beginning So I had time to read the explanation.
I think you might want to make the game a bit more progressive and give a bit feedback to the player: I pressed the expected keys but nothing happened. Did I pressed correctly?
Thanks for the feedback, now that I got the game out of my mind, I also realized how confusing the beginning of the game can be.
Basically, you have the first mode, where you have to hold keys for a couple of seconds and the alternative mode where you just have to press keys once.
Howdy! Really neat little concept, fixing up a electrics board is very fitting for this pallet, and lends itself well to that, I think. I found the first mode rather confusing; it's a bit counterintuitive that the first level requires you to lock in two answers simultaneously. The first number of levels are a bit too easy once you understand what you're doing; the first 7~ are just marking which spaces are empty. I did quite enjoy the secondary mode though, flipping through potential orientations in a time attack manner was frenetic and fun.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback !
Nice job with this game! A pretty challenging memory game. It was fun to play it!
Thanks :)
