Great job submitting a game and taking first place in the jam! Super well deserved.

There is an incredible amount of polish and level of detail on here (sleeping doggo at the bottom of the level screen). The art is great. The transition screens are top notch. I love the choice to turn the Nokia sideways. It fits so well with the game.

The movement of the dog is extremely satisfying. The reactive puzzle nature of the game creates some amazing moments where you feel like a puzzle genius and a pro gamer at the same time. Hitting all the blocks in one go, especially on a difficult level, is fist pump worthy. There are plenty of levels that introduce new ideas to keep the game fresh. There's never a dull moment in all 30 of them.

Wish I had more to say but its pretty much a chefs kiss in my eyes. Only took you both 2.5 days to make this bad boy? Super inspirational to say the least. Amazing work and thanks for participating!

Really well done. The animations here are fantastic, from the intro, to the level transitions, to the sleepy string thing (and its fancy "Z") on the bottom of the level select page, and of course the walking animation.

But what I like most about this game is the feel of moving and stretching the string thing. It was very fluid and felt really nice to move around. Initially, I wasn't going left or right much, just trying to "pop" the cubes right from the bottom, but I appreciated that the levels slowly encouraged you to use the move advanced movements, and being able to combo the larger enemies made it even more tempting to use.

I wasn't expecting to, but I ended up playing all 30 levels. I can see how this could be expanded to a more full experience. Thumbs up for sure.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.

Excellent presentation. I made it past the first boss – the animations are extremely cute!

I developed a strategy of “wait patiently for the cubes to intersect so I can bash them safely at the same time” though it was a bit of a boring way to play – I actually would have preferred fewer levels, so I could get to the unique content like the bosses sooner.

I kinda feel like I should have some grace period if my head bashes something while I’m still retracting? I dunno, maybe that would make it too easy? Just a thought.

Thank you, I agree with the criticisms you mentioned. I see what you mean about that playstyle being boring, but over time the game introduces new mechanics that force you to play more actively, so it shouldn't be an issue as you progress.

What a neat concept! I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

This is really creative and very polished. The graphics are amazing for the limitations!

And the game concept is really cool. Good job!

Phenomenal entry. I made it till level 21 for now, but definitely coming back to this. Great twist on snake and a puzzle platformer. The spritework was exquisite considering the limitations. I don't really have any qualms. The design was simple and the difficulty curve gradual and fun.

Hi fellow snakelike game. I really enjoy the take on this, but I feel that I'm not clear on what to do, once I understood it, it became quite challenging.

Amazing, this is the best game I've seen for this jam, the amount of polish here is insane. This is definitely the closest game I've seen so far that comes close to potentially being a full game! My only minor gripe is the difficulty, but I'm not a gamer, so that's probably a me problem.

This game looks amazing! Loving the animations and the gameplay. It’s kind of a fusion between snake and a game that I can’t remember the name of rn (you are in an arena with some enemies bouncing around. You have to reach the other wall of the arena, while drawing a line after you, which if hit by enemies, will kill you. In that game you have to capture more and more of the arena. Anyway…)

Love the style!
