This choose-your-own-adventure game is short, sweet, and definitely full of surprises. Based in the near future, our protagonist has just set up a virtual assistant, and it doesn’t take long for things to go awry.

When it first begins we’re given the chance to configure our controls. This is a great choice for accessibility. For a game with only two buttons, setup was quick and easy, and it gives us countless ways to steer the story. My only request here would be to add support for mouse and gamepad input.

From there we’re given a narrative experience with plenty of branching paths. The voice acting is convincing. The choices are impactful. And the sound design is well executed by taking advantage of the entire stereo field. We’ll hear atmospheric sounds, interface alerts, and various cues that react to its twists and turns.

My favorite aspect of the game is its music design. In the PG13 stream of your game there were some issues with its implementation. I’m glad that you responded with a hotfix because now the compositions really shine. With each choice the music adds a layer, offering different themes depending on the path we take. Some results are intense while others are chill.

I hope you eventually add a way to replay the game without reloading it. It could be as simple as Dyechan asking us if we want to restart or quit. Ideally this would skip the controls configuration and jump directly into the story. But I’d still love for the music to loop endlessly at each end.

Thanks for your submission. Good work!

I'm sorry to say, but to me the audio still glitches out, and I won't be able to rate your game for now...
