- Good job completing the jam! Things to consider moving forward: - Wow! Great jobs guys! The amount of polish you were able to do in such a short period of time is really impressive. You have a super solid vision for the game, and your art, sound, and narrative work together incredibly well. - Your actual gameplay takes way too long to start. The intro is great but the player doesn't actually have anything to do for about 5 minutes of gameplay. For such a short game, this time should definitely be significantly less. Your game page mentions the option to skip dialogue and cutscenes by using right-click, but I was never able to get this to work. Might be a bug as I noticed this with progressing through dialogue using left-click too? Would definitely suggest there is some sort of UI button on screen that players can use though so the user can decide whether they want to sit through the entire intro. - With your upgrade, you added "the player must now talk to every NPC multiple times to challenge them". This is fine, but I think it might be worth discussing what the objective of your game is. What experience do you want the users to have? Are they playing a visual novel or are they playing a beat game? Perhaps there would be a way to add a mechanic where it will become easier to defeat NPCs the more you talk to them? Just something to think about. Overall, good job team and keep at it!
