This looks great, and was fun!
What frustrated me was that the player's collision mask is (seemingly) the exact same size as a tile, and the player moves pixel by pixel so it is nearly impossible to line the player up properly with the tiles, you just end up going back and forth. I think you could solve this issue by simply making the player's collision mask smaller. But Ideally you would make the player always move the length/width of a single tile. Or maybe half of it. So that you know if you just tap a directional button you will always move half of a tile, or a full tile, 
I really want to give this some more time, and if you fix that issue I definitely will!
