For the theme, I made the bass system and you have to destroy him to finish the game
For the lore, I gave the player a gun before the starting of level 2 and he has to feel its potential

The game looks great, but has one frustrating issue. Enemies permanently spawning on top of yourself. That felt really annoying, i would have like either a spawn suppression or a clear anticipation animation when enemies appear. Same with the jumps of the little pc robots. I want to see when they are gonna jump that i can react to it and not die, because they randomly decided to jump and i had no way of knowing.
The trailing bullet is really cool, but might i suggest coloring your own and enemy bullets differently? That would lead to a lot more clarity.
Also a little issue with the controls. I generally don’t like to jump with the key up, it just feels awkward for me, I would prefer space for that and put the interaction button somewhere else.

Interesting art! The game is a little hard, a tutorial level might be great. Just so the player can get used with the controls and the AI before the actual adventure. Anyway, good game! :)

Hard, but not too hard, I'd say! Felt like I was making some progress all the time, and dying was quick and fast respawn so it was easy to get on with 'just one more try'. Eventually completed it! :D The only "issue" I had with it, was the fact that there is no indicator for when an enemy will spawn, and spawning was not suppressed by player presence, it made it possible to run in a perfectly safe level only to suddenly restarting because an enemy spawned on the player. It was a bit frustrating. But other than that, fun game! I'd also like a timer or similar, so it would be fun to come back to this later for a high-score. :D

at the beginning i was like “oh a platformer, so mario with billy as the enemy?”
then… i got the gun 😈
the gun was a GREAT touch and kept me on my toes, especially since the spaceships were shooting at me too!

Aesthetically this game looks very good, really loved the visuals. Had trouble with the gameplay as it was very difficult and not immediately apparent what you were supposed to do. I think easing the player into the mechanics a little more would be a good improvement.

It is a little bit too hard I think, maybe having lives or making the robots a bit slower or their jump not as high would have been better. It would also help if the pixel sizes were consistent. But other than that, it's pretty good!

Cute game ! Was bit hard to understand tho, I had to restart the game twice to re-read the instructions. I didn't understand the input to flip the switch and it wasnt clear that I had to pick up the gems to open the door as those are generally optional in games. Maybe keys would've been easier to understand ? I really liked the dialogs with the mysterious shadowy figure, unfortunately, I wasnt able to beat the boss since I would keep running out of ammo while the Boss had like 1 hp, so I had to give up, I don't know if I had any way of getting more ammo.

Oooooh, maybe I was missing once or twice so I didnt have enough ammo, maybe just making it sligthly easier, like 5 hp less, would be enough.

This was a fun 2d side scroller and shooter. The mario jump on enemy mechanic was kind of inconsistent so once I got the gun, it really helped even out the gameplay. Also once I learned I could double jump, the game got sooooo much easier. The visuals were solid and cohesive. You had a solid use of the theme and the lore was used. I found a little cheese area in the boss fight by standing right next to the enemy spawns and just spamming shoot, insta cleared the enemies and still damaged the boos. Easy peasy victory lol But this was a cool package overall. Keep on keeping on and grow as a gamedev! I streamed it here:

It's pretty good lore and story. I really like the graphics and the art. It could've been polished to be better, but I understand why it's not much polished. Overall, it's a good game.

actually the game is made in two days so yeah :)
This was fun.
The normal levels were kind of hard as you need to get through the enemies to the exit (rewarding getting to it).
However I think I cheated on the Boss lol: You can stand just before the spawn and just keep shooting from there. The bullets will kill everything that spawns and they will also get to the boss and damage it. And killing the mobs gives you more bullets, so if you match your shooting with the spawn, then you never run out of bullets. So I’m not sure if I cheated, or if I broke the system! lol

and yes, the boss fight can be cheated easily XD. I exactly dunno why I didn't add blocking to the enemies but I guess it is ok :)
