I loved this experience. great ambiance. I love that you don't start with a gun, which creates this uncertainty of what kind of experience it is, it gets you immersed. The sound and fx were great, volumes balanced well. Good lighting and feel, textures look great. Same with animations and user feedback. Something small I really enjoyed was being able to crouch jump (like in old halo games) to reach unique places. Object collision was well set up making this even more fun! Lastly, after escaping the asylum, my message read in a way that suggested a possible second or third ending. That made me want to replay and really explore. Great job!
Some notes for the dev
When I click 'about' on the title screen, my game locks up and I have to go into task manager to close out the game.
I usually found the keys and ammo by complete accident. I notice the text box before seeing the object. perhaps an emissive fresnel effect could make pickups visually 'pop'...
