Anything you want to say to players before they play?
I've not included control instructions in the game, sorry! But it's very simple. You control the little kid changing his position in the street. You don't need to press a button to walk, he does it alone. With W and S you can go up and down. Also, you control the paper boat with UpArrow to make it jump, preventing falling in sewers.

Nice graphics! I included it in my Movie Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out! :)

Oh thank you very much for playing!! I hope you enjoyed this game even with many bugs and weird things happening.

I do not like the original movie and did not see the new one.
That said once I figured out the controls (probably my fault) I had a good time.
My best score was 40
I think that my score was effected more by random generation than my own skill though.

I'm glad yo u had a good time playing. Sorry for the inconvenience about the absence of instructions and backstory, that's my fault, because I forgot to put and I have no excuse. About the random generation I should have made something better, sorry if this led to an unfair game. Anyways, thank you for playing the game and for giving a feedback.

I think it's well done! random generation and ramping difficulty is a very hard thing to do especially without a large group of people to playtest. I run into this when I make games and they feel easy, then I hand it off to a friend and they are really challenged because they didn't design all the levels and know where everything is.

My entry suffered from difficulty ramping this jam too. I played it so much it was easy and developed the muscle memory to quickly beat the game (1:26) but other people playing had frustration and struggles. Take my feedback constructively. I really appreciate what you made (even though that clown freaks me out!)

These kinds of games always confused me so I wasn't able to last very long during my tries. Visually it's cool, only thing that didn't make much sense were cars going over the sidewalk or trees and other sidewalk-y stuff appearing in the middle of the road, but with time being limited I can understand not being able to fix everything (I also have similar problems in my entry :p)

Overall it was good though, nice job :)

Sorry for that inconvenience, these non-sense stuff, actually, was intended. The main problem is I forget to put some information to the player about the controls and backstory. This is my mistake because we had time to do it and there's no excuse. But I'm very happy for you playing the game, and thank you for the feedback.

I've always been a fan of games that try to split your attention and make you control more than one thing at the same time, so this concept was a hit with me. I also love the ending. Really captured the spookiness of the movie.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it. Sorry for any inconvenience, like absence of instructions to the player. Thank you for the comment.

Might want to remove the spoiler from the movie scene description and give a warning before the YouTube link, and maybe change it to 'Minor spoiler'.

Sorry for late response. I've done modifications as you said. Thank you!
