Its a fun game and quick to get into. The music and sound effects were nice. The art was charming and i loved how emotive the character seemed.

I think the icicles came onto the screen a little too fast to react to though.

Simple and fast game, made it until the level 4 where things get really fast and are just too much to avoid lol.

Congrats on making the game!

A simple but very addictive game! Love it! Especially liked the soundtrack!

Love a simple and straightforward game. Matches the theme perfectly too. Sound effects and art are also really nice.

Love the concept, simple but really fun and I ended up playing it for probably too long lol

Despite the main gameplay loop being simple, the game is really fun and engaging. I think it was a really good choice to make the player character controlled by mouse as it allows for quicker reactions. Really good!

Developer

Thanks! I got the original idea for the game from the overworld bullet hell sections of Deltarune where you're sliding down something, but then I thought of controlling it with the mouse instead and did that. Good to know I made the right choice!

Simple, repeatable and enjoyable. Love the music and sound effects.

If there were some way to forecast the hazards more so that there was a little bit more time for me to react I'd love it. As is still great though!

I appreciate the feedback! In hindsight I should've made the icicles move onto the screen slower and more clearly

Fun little arcade-y game, but hard as hell when the icycles come into play. Would love to know your maximum score :)

I believe my personal highest speed is 20m/s and I've gotten to just before checkpoint 6. I should definitely have thought more about the difficulty curve lol

oh I was close then, 19.2 ;)

I think it’s nice as it is, maybe a bit abrupt with all the icicles all of a sudden ahaha but ultimately it felt good to play. And when I thought I was a smartass by putting my character at the top of the screen for better reaction time, I got slapped the icicles and learn the error of my ways xD

Great job again!

how did you embed the game? I would like to do it for my game, but I don't know how

Developer

With Godot, you export the game for web/HTML5. Make sure the html file it makes is called index.html and then add all the files into a .zip. In itch.io, set the game to be played in browser and then upload the zip file. Tick the box next to "This file will be played in browser" and you're done. You can also upload for other platforms by uploading those files separately
