Nice action game which I don’t think really fits the definition of a RPG, it’s more of a shoot-em-up / dungeon-crawler. When starting the game, I thought the atmosphere was pretty great, it set a surreal tone of a car in the fields at night, slow humming of the engine, with nobody in sight, driving slowly. Then it became even more bizarre as the car ventures into a dungeon with fire and ice spells, fighting monsters and spiders. It had cool effects and decent controls. The car was able to move faster with the Shift key, I thought that was a great touch, fitting for a car. I think it needed more story elements, something to justify the dissonance of a car having magic spells - it needs some kind of reasoning for the theme to not make it feel too out of place. Overall, good job!

cool game, the idea of a medieval rhythm combat game just cracks me up. I feel like this idea has a lot of potential and could be really fun if developed further.

Thanks for playing! We had fun making it, I could definitely see myself developing this further.

Have to agree fully with morphic here. A more fast paced game always brings room for engagement!

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing,  we appreciate it. :)

We do have the boost mechanic on the shift button, but I had nerfed it before we posted the game. We initially had the player moving much quicker but I felt that it was almost too easy with how fast we could go, it seems it seems like I reduced it too much.  We will definitely try to have more play testers next time.

No worries! You should try finishing 5-6 hours before the jam and have some online friends to test it out for you (not from the jam). I ran out of time completely to even do that! Would you mind rating my game in the meantime too please?
