Looks like a game that could be good for mobile, I guess that's where you were heading because of the resolution size. I feel like the game requires more polish, both to make it engaging and to make it look awesome. Instead of just having to see the static movement of the enemy and the number of the health of the enemy, I think it would've been nice to have more animations and more visual effects, with sound effects too. I also see that you've used many of the sprites from the asset pack, I think you were trying to use most of them, some have creative uses, which I think is pretty nice.

Overall, its a good idle game.

Hey! it was really cool to play, love the music and it looks really polished, it would becool if you had to use the weapons you buy with a cooldown

It was nice to play, I really liked the idea once I figured everything out. Though I must say instructions were unclear in the tutorial and I understood everything fully only when I started actually playing.

Design is nice, but cluttered. I think UI should be smaller so I can see how my dead character destroys all these poor enemies >:3

Also the game needs some juice, e.g. hitting animations, blood, some SFX of hitting, SFX of purchasing, you know.

It might be me, but the difficulty seemed to be quite high. I've bought all 6 upgrades for level 1 and yet it was difficult to understand what upgrades I really needed and where I should have saved money up.

Overall, it is a nice game that with more polish would get much better. It can be a very nice game for RPG lovers who also likes mobile games!

Great game with a lot of options for character building(i like this very much). I can see it working as an android game. All it needs is  animations for visual feedback and some sfx too.

Thank you for your feedback !
Have a great day !

Interesting Idle game.  I feel like this game needs an extra component in order to make it a bit more engaging.  My experience playing it twice now has been:   Buy one of the 2 upgrades I can afford in the early game with the limited starting gold.   Die to the 3rd /4th enemy.   Not sure if I am missing something.  Gold is only gathered by defeating creatures, correct?  It would be interesting to have, perhaps, a puzzle to solve or something on the screen to generate extra gold.  I feel like this is a great start to something, and just needs to be fleshed out!  Keep working on this one, I can see what you were going for and it has the potential to be very addictive!  :D

Hello. Thank you playing and rating our game.
We intended to make this game quite hard and challenging. By the way. You have more than two upgrades to choose from in the early game. You have 2 starter items in the "melee" section. 2 in "ranged" section, and 2 in "healing" section. (So i guess you are missing something, you can choose these sections with bottom buttons in the game).
Once again, Thank you for playing and rating our game.
Have a great day!

It was quite engaging at first, having to pause and make decisions but it’s not as interesting after a while because it’s all about raising the numbers to out-damage or out-heal the enemy. Even though it can be thought-provoking to choose between ranged, melee and defense, there’s not enough mechanics or variety to stay engaged until Level 100. I feel that the pacing needs to be improved as it becomes too much of a drag to start over. Unlike a rogue-like game, there’s no random generation or variety to make the restart from zero interesting - there are no new circumstances different enough to discover, so restarting from Level 80 for example, would be extremely discouraging. Hence, there needs to be some incentive or motivation for the player to try new things when they fail. As terrible as this sounds, consider adding checkpoints with maybe a little boss every 20 levels, and have a practice mode where players can try out builds safely. Perhaps the character that they built can carry over after death, and lose some of their progress but not all - or perhaps even have multiple characters with the option to flee and come back another time.

Overall, I had some fun planning and calculating the build for my character in this game and there’s definitely some potential there. Good job!

Hello, Thank you for rating, playing and spending time in our game. I definitely agree with you that it is discouraging to restart from high levels when you die. This was our first game that went beyond a simple prototype stage and simply we did not had enough time to implement everything that we wanted (and also, I think if we tried to, we would have probably failed as we did not had enough experience in game dev and the engine we used - godot). Anyways, Thank you for spending your time playing our game. Have a great day!

Nice game. I understand that is meant to be difficult but I think that it needs to be gradually introduced.
I really enjoyed playing it!

Hello, I agree with you that the difficulty should be gradually introduced. This was our first game that went beyond a simple prototype stage and we were still new to many things both in game dev and in the engine it self (godot). By the way. Thanks for rating and playing our game.

Have a great day!

Neat concept, kind of like an AFK clicker game with a lot less clicking. The difficulty felt a little unfair in the beginning though.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for rating my game. And yes the difficulty is quite high here. The initial idea here was to have , as you said, an AFK clicker style of game, but in the end we decided to make a little twist to the game. The game is hard intentionally, it is encouraging the player to pause every time after killing an enemy and to think about their future upgrade. Thanks again for playing and rating my game. Have a great day!

Hello dear future players of our game. I want to explain a bit on how to play the game because some of the players were really confused on how the game works. The initial game idea was to let the player to figure it out on how to play the game them selfs.

TL;TR - Player kills enemies automatically. Buy upgrades so you wont die. Reach level 100 to win.  esc - pause. r - restart. You can change mouse size, resolution, music volume in the settings. Have a good one!

The goal of the game is to reach level 100 and buy the last item which is tilted "WELL U WON!". You will face countless waves of enemies and have to defeat them all without dying once to reach your eternal victory. How will you do that is on you. There are countless building paths which could lead you to victory. "Maxing swords", "Maxing bows", or "Maxing health". You will be asking your self these questions countless times if you will decide to finally put in the effort and time into winning this hard game. Pro tip: none of the mentioned starts works and you will have to use all of your math and brain power into calculating the optimal strats to win this game.

You will die countless times before reaching level 100. But don't give keep on retrying. Best of luck! ! !

The Linux version is missing the pck file, I had to grab it from the Windows version to make it work. And the game it's a bit confusing I'm not exactly sure what you're supposed to do

EDIT: Your game page mentions a tutorial, maybe I missed it? I tried evertyhing that seemed clickable on the title screen but couldn't find anything.

Developer

Here is the tutorial in case u missed it. By the way, As i said in the game page in download instructions: The game was only tested on WINDOWS platform and I'm really sorry about the .pck file and missing tutorial scene. It might have glitched because of LINUX. But here is the tutorial scene anyways. I hope so that with existing tutorial you will give this game another spare 5 minutes of your time.

Have a great day!
