Cool game and great polish. Might sound weird but although I think the pacing feels pretty well the game feels to slow. I think gameplay wise it feels right but you are not going very fast. Took some sense of action and danger out for me. But I don't know how to fix it without reducing reaction times. Also jumping and projectiles did me in quite often ;)

Really cool game, feels really polished, it would be cool if you could find some powerups :)
Nice game. Really nice music, even though it doesn't loop seamlessly.
Feels a bit weird that one can't jump over enemies and maybe small walls.
Also I'd love to drift sideways and not just forward (though that might be hard to implement, idk).
This is a great endless runner, my only gripe is I couldn't survive long enough for the music to get really good aha, I'd suggest having the music continue throughout.
Great little minecart game, I liked the artwork and the lighting, and the gameplay was great. Felt pretty polished. My son liked it when I "kept getting zapped by those balls". So good job :).
Fun game! I really like the core mechanic. Like, I /really/ like the core mechanic. This type of game is one of my favorite things to play - there's just something so satisfying about ramming through goblins and jumping over spikes in a cool mine cart, haha!
It was kind of frustrating that bumping my back into the wall damaged me instead of just /not/ letting me back up - I killed myself probably 20 times backing into walls because my brain just could not compute the idea that it would hurt me, lol.
Also, the projectiles knocking you out of jumps really feels weird - I thought I'd be able to jump over the projectiles, but I got knocked out of a jump into bouncing off of spikes into the wizard's body for the 3 damage insta-kill quite often.
Also, having the music fade out then fade back in on death would be a nice little Quality of Life feature, since now it's just a hard cut.
I was super happy that you generously restarted me at the start of the level I died on, instead of needing to restart the game. That kept me /super/ engaged. I probably would have given up a lot sooner if I had to completely start over every time, haha!
Overall, I had a LOT of fun playing this. Really excellent work!
This looked very good.Music was very good. The variety in enemies made it interesting for more time and kept me engaged. The jumping could have been a little more optimized but pretty fun and hard game.
love what you did with this^^
this is the second rail game i saw on the game jam.(other one was 3d though).
had fun passing trough obstacles and trying to get better after each attempt!
umm my feedback on this is that you should put a invincibility time frame when you get hit (collision disables + character flashes) so that the player can get trough difficult obstacles when he gets hit.
For example, it often happened that i went on the big golem right on. the i'd keep bouncing on him and lost all my lives on the spot.
Other than that loved the glow added on objects and how fun it's to control the character
Good work man!
Loved how it all looked and the knock back of the rocks whenever you hit it. Very well put together!
I liked how creative the jump and drift animations were! Was really fun trying to beat my previous distance, and also realising i can't drift into a wall to break it haha! I'd maybe suggest tracking the distance and displaying it to the user when they die to make them want to keep trying to beat their score :) I'm a sucker some competition, even with myself. Really nicely polished, i liked that the tutorial wouldn't display every time, a small detail but went a long way for me. Great job!
Super polished and clean to play. Controls super well. Not super interesting but fun none the less :D
It is a really polished game that I loved but it took some time to get used to the controls.
Movement just felt awkward for me. I couldn't get into it. Game looks pretty though.
Nice! I liked the variety of enemies that I saw (only made it to level 2 so far), and the particle and lighting effects are a nice touch.
