Very challenging, compact city builder! Might have been nice to see the rates of change for each resource but maybe that would make it too easy. Great work!

Really clean and simple even without a tutorial I knew what to do.  I enjoyed this!

The presentation was very clean and polished!  The game itself was interesting, but I had a few situation where I wasn't quite sure why I wasn't generating people.  The defense system and how the ufos exactly work could have been clarified a bit more.  I'd love to see this fleshed out a bit more, as I had a good experience overall!  Good job!

I really enjoyed the game! I feel adding in a snapping system would be quite useful to speed up construction. Also, maybe adding in something like a tooltip to specify how much of each resource a building needs.

Some kind of explanation of what all of the symbols mean would be great. You could do this using tooltips, like Gatlink suggests. That way there is no need for a giant text wall. Overall, I did quite enjoy the game once I understood all of the stuff.

The idea and the presentation are both really really cool, but I have to say I was a bit overwhelmed by everything. Simple tooltips when you mouse-over the buildings telling you what they do would have been nice, and would be enough so you don't need a proper tutorial.

I'm sure you know that, but sound FX could add a lot, not just in terms of polish, but also to warn the player of new information coming in (aliens are attacking, one of your resource is depleted, that kind of stuff).

As a quality of life feature, snapping the buildings together so you don't have to manually find the closest spot possible to existing buildings when you place a new one could be really cool.

All of those are little things that could be improved, but they're not enough to bring your game down. It is an excellent idea well delivered, and it doesn't need much more to become truly great!

really engaging game! I didn't find a use for the red icon, was the blue icon supposed to consume red instead of orange? anyway had to try a couple times to get it right. Super fun and polished! Great job :D

Developer

The aliens use up the red icon (defense) before they steal your science. Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! :)

Nice game! Had to play it a few times until I understood exactly how to win it, a tutorial would be nice, but anyway I think is a good game, nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, ill def be adding a tutorial once the game jam is over :)

Really cool idea. Love the minimalistic style of the game. In my opinion there are some things that should be explained, like the shield thingy, or the alien ship. A small tutorial would be nice :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback :) appreciate it!

Dude, this is THE most minimalistic approach for a resource management game! I loved the simplistic aspect of it! Great job

Developer

Thank you! I really enjoyed making it

Neat concept. I love city building and resource management games, and this feels like it really distills the genres to a bear minimum whilst introducing a time challenge that keeps it engaging.

As there are so few elements, i think balance would be key to keeping me coming back. Lovely simplistic presentation as well

Developer

Thanks for the review! I will come back after the jam is over and tweak the balance (it was way harder than i thought it would be to get balance and it was always too easy or too hard :P )

I really like this concept! I had fun building my own little city, even if it is a struggle to win. At one point I accidentally clicked on the wrong building to build, but couldn't figure out if there was a way to change the building option after clicking on it. I think giving players the option to swap between buildings when deciding on what to build would be helpful if there are others like me that misclick. Overall, a great game, though!

Developer

Hey  thanks for the feedback! You can right click to cancel building placement, but that definitely can be surfaced better to the player :)

Another thing with a circle! Cool stuff! It's like an active idle game? Perhaps the positions of the buildings could be automated, since it doesn't really seem to matter where you place things, and if you place buildings a little far apart, you have no space for other stuff. Otherwise, a very nice challenging game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, the placing of buildings can definitely be made less strict, or entirely automated =)

Took three tries to win and I loved it! What a simple concept but so well executed. I really enjoyed the strategy and would definitely play a commercial game like this. Great game!

Developer

Thanks, for giving it a try :) Im glad you liked it!

Managed to get a win after like 8 attempts.
very fun to play and addicting^^

Only small issue is that the placement requires high precision so you get the most of your money out.
There's potential to add more stuff and make this game more rich.(like defense tower shoots back)

Fun game! I enjoyed it!

Developer

Thanks! I think i got used to the placement during dev, it could definitely use some tweaks ill tweak it after the jam ends :)

Fun game, I love the various ways you could approach the goal, and I love the orbital style.
