It was a pretty good platformer base, you do need to work on the jumping a bit. It's strangely weighty and I missed a bunch of jumps because it felt sped up. You also need to add some feedback to the player so they know that they are progressing, I only killed the final boss because there was nothing else to shoot at but right up until he vanished I didn't know if I was doing the right thing.
Otherwise it's really good, the level layout is great and the general fx are nice.
I will add progress bar and improve jumps.
Thanks for playing.
Nice platformer, I liked the cute main character and his little jump particles! To improve, I would add some more guidance on how to play in the title screen or in the game, and make it a bit clearer how to kill the big dudes, since I had a hard time with those. Good job though :)
Yes, I need to work on it more.
Thanks for playing.
It’s a decent platformer, but more distinction needs to be made between the actual platforms and the background; some objects I thought I could jump on but they’re actually in the background, and some objects like the windmill I thought were part of the background and not actually solid. The objective at the title screen can be edited and removed, it shouldn’t be the case. Also, the objective needs to have clearer wording to signify that it’s mandatory to kill all enemies (or the door wouldn’t unlock) - because on the second level, I softlocked myself for not killing the first spider. Have feedback when the immortal is damaged, because I didn’t know if my diamonds did anything even when I had the red pill on. All in all, I did manage to complete this game, it was decent and fun but could use some improvements!
