The goods :
-Great 4th wall break
-Fun to play!
-Original graphics

The bads :
-Went trough wall (but died so great job thinking about that)
-Doors were a bit difficult to open

I recommend it to y'all^^

Overall great job pal

Developer

Thanks for the review,

The going through walls was something I kept having trouble with so the kill plane was an easy way so you could restart.

Glad you enjoyed the narrative.

Such a creepy and interesting game. It made me feel quite uncomfortable which was the point of it. Very creative. My complain which is more of a preference, is that i didn't find the gameplay engaging, but in general i just like fun gameplay and i am not into narrative games which is not your fault at all. You did great on what you planned to do! Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing.

How the heck does it know my name XDD. A very smart game and the glow was great, also some nice 3d fx. Surprisingly NO LAG on web!! I did however keep getting stuck on the floor for some reason! Overall a 3-4 star game, well done!

Developer

Thanks for the review, I utilized a few tricks that can be done inside a downloaded game to access your username on your system. :) glad to see it surprised you.

Gave me motion sickness (just like the original system shock). So in that sense you nailed the look and feel.

Developer

Sorry to hear that, not sure what I'd do to go about fixing it

I updated my comment to better reflect that i meant it in a joking nature. It's more of a 'me and almost every first person game' issue  than a mizshock issue :)

Developer

good to hear. glad you liked the game even if it gave you the motion sickness.

Not going to lie when it said my name it tripped me out quite a bit. Awesome work! The inventory could use some clarification, didn't know the item I picked up was for health, but that didn't seem like the point of the game really. Nice work!

Developer

yeah inventory was mostly added because it's in the genre. And the inventory itself was mostly a mock than any real implementation.

I'm glad I got you with the bits of 4th wall breaking.

Wasn't able to run on Mac, my bad for using a mac I guess.

Developer

I'm sorry for that, did  it give you the error?
I don't have a mac myself so all I can do is set it to the MacOS build target and hit "build"

Submitted

Only "The application "MizjamShock" can't be opened.".

Developer

hmmm I wish I could help with that :(

This game breaks the 4th wall in a Shocking way... see what I did there?

Developer(+1)

I see what you did there

Submitted

Wish there was a little more gameplay, but the presentation definitely made it worth it. Captured the System Shock feeling excellently.

Developer

Thanks, I wish I had more time in my life to put into this before the deadline.
Who knows Maybe I'll leverage this into something bigger in the future

oh I love how meta this is

Developer

I'm so Meta. Even this acronym

Submitted(+1)

That was pretty entertaining

Developer

Thanks, did you find the secret ending?

Submitted

I do not think i did. But i didn't close the game out myself if that's what you mean, if not tell me so i can go back and look for it

Developer

Sounds like you found it. there's just the force quit and the run the loop endings
