The premise is super cute and the upgrade/heal decisions are interesting. My biggest issue was the camera. The game started with my meeples completely out of view and no indication of what was going on. I tried clicking both of the main mouse buttons and hitting every key on the keyboard to get something to happen, finally I went back to the webpage and saw the note about the middle mouse button and that got me going. Even so there were times where I could barely get the square I wanted to into view so that it was clickable. And I definitely wanted to be able to zoom out for a broader view sometimes.
These kinds of games are always cool, a bit of clarification and polish is needed but over all it's a pretty good game. The camera was a bit confusing at first, took me a bit to figure out the middle mouse button moved the camera. Also wished there was more detail on who's an enemy, who's an ally, who you're controlling, and what's happening. But it's readable enough to be enjoyable.
I'd give a 5 stars on the duck section of voting, if there was one.
Very Fire Emblem-ish^^
was alot of fun playing this^^
umm the pass button didn't seem to work on my game.
Good job with the gameplay!
I LOVED this game. Very engaging. I thought it was very polished. Awesome work! It's my favorite so far from what I have played.
Very polished, lovely gameplay, my only complaint would be that it's hard to see what characters turn it currently is and that there's no turn order visible. Sometimes it's hard to see the enemies due to the lighting, maybe add an overlay or a health bar oder something.
But all in all this is a really great squad based 1-bit x-com type of game that's really enjoyable and intuitive. Even with roguelike elements. Super well done.
Failed just at the last level! So close ! Smooth control and gameplay although i choose the gun twice as an upgrade but never recived it :(
Not imediately obvious that you need to use the mouse to use the camera! Like CrackIT in the comment below, i thought the camera was stuck!
I really like this dungeon crawler, the 3D look of the game is really nice and combat feels interesting. There could be some animations but that's understandable a little bit hard in 48 hours. Oh and I don't really personally like the camera position it's weird that it's always on the left end side of the room. Besides that tough pretty amazing game especially for the 48 hour time limit.
