You added interesting elements like checkpoints and a sliding mechanic, but controls felt a bit clunky to me. Also, I think that spending time to improve "game feel" would greatly benefit your game.

I had a lot of issues playing this game. If i played in window mode the arrow keys moved my browser and if i used full screen the arrow keys didn't work.

Developer

This would've been fixed by WASD movement, but because I used a behavior for tilemovement in Construct 3 and didn't know how to change it. But I don't know why the arrow keys didn't work when you were in fullscreen

This is a solid game for a game jam, but it could benefit from some more visual effects to help indicate when enemies are attacking you.  Also, the choice of arrow keys for movement with mouse aim is an unusual choice.  Typically, games that use mouse aim, utilize WASD for movement.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback and I wanted to use WASD for movement but because I used a behavior for tilemovement in Construct 3 and didn't know how to change it.

it is good but with some more engaging sounds or maybe screenshake it would be  a bit more fun but still cool :D

Developer

Thank you for the feedbac

Developer

Thanks. Was it too hard though?

its fine, i can tell you are not very experienced in game development, but thats ok, focus on making your next games have more "juice" that is more responsiveness ect.

Developer

Ok. Part of the reason was because I was using the free version of Construct 3 which is very limited. I am going to try to switch to Unity.

Good! personally i like using godot better but unity is very good also.
