Not bad, but could be better! The bullets I feel are a bit slow, and the range is a bit short. I do feel like they could have been a bit faster.
The next (and biggest) concern I have is that I feel that the levels are somewhat repetitive. It sorta got me after the first “tile dropping” one where the next level felt so similar to the first that i thought I gameover’d lol.
The slow-mo was nice but felt a bit out of place, it didn’t really feel like there was much point in using it often enough, if I’m being honest.
I did enjoy the colourful art style, and the music was a bop. Some extra sound effects here and there would have been nice, though.
Cool neon stuff. I liked the pirates music! lol
Cool game! Shooting is nice. Gameplay is cool. Overall good game!
Its a great piece of entertainment, however , it still has some technical issues.
the bullets are too slow to hit something
the songs dont feel like affect the game or anything , but they are awesome
the jumps feel more like animations than real jumps bcs you still keep your momentum when you go up , ure not hitting the ceiling and falling directly after that , its not wrong , but it feels weird.
but i like the levels and visually it looks good.
i just wanted a bit more gameplay.
Nice Game! I wanted to continue discovering what else it has to offer,
but I get Stuckd at the fourth level and started to frustrate a little bc of the lack of accuracy.
Good Game!
I really want to love this game..
and the art style and music are great!
but that second level was way too frustretating.
and I think its due to 3 factors:
1. the shooting feels not accurate enough
2. the bullets travel to slow
3. I think it also will become way more comfortable when the lens of the camera is wider! (when I follow 1 of the icons to shoot, i can't see the rest, with a wider lens a have more time as a player t react on the next one)
I really want to see rest of the game but srry that second level kills me xD
but still really well done, love the look and feel!
and the platforming feels great! ;)
Great stuff! Really enjoyed the lighting and switching between gamemodes.
My feedback would be :
- Jumping from shooting people to beats is a bit jarring, maybe the people sections could be extended so that the beats sections break up the rhythm (e.g. 4x people 1x beat)
- Enemy movement would make it a lot more active I think - or placing the player in an arena surrounded as opposed to the platforming section
Hope you have time to give us feedback and a rating for MaizeGunner!
I like the gameplay and the idea of shooting the music beats. The music good as well as the 3d models, especially the raygun. The player movement was nice and smooth I really liked it. I'm a bit confused what the game is supposed to be able though because one level you're shooting enemies, another level you're shooting music blocks haha. Other than that the game was pretty well made!
really fun! maybe add more enemies, fix bugs, and all the other stuff, and this game would be even better!
The idea is good. I also like the art and the gameplay. Everything is really cool.
P.S. On the mac does not lauch, add the binary file, I had to open it on Windows but anyway good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
cool idea! fun
