Kind of unsettling in a good way. Some more complex recipes with additional ingredients would be cool.

Wow that was very cool! Shooting feel very good. I also like the art style. It's spooky and the music is adding the uneasy feeling. Aiming is pretty hard though. Great job :)

if you have a minute please check my game too :)

Super cool mood and graphics. With more time this game could be super juicy and feel smoother to control.

I love this game and mostly sound effects! I don't quite understand how to not take damage from enemies, but it was very funny to chop all this v e g e t a b l e demons! 5 star art tho)

Yep, not the first person to say that about health. It's not tied to you, the player, but the base in the center. So taking damage means something reached the base. Good to hear about the rest though! I just sort of winged the art for the demons so I'm glad they were well received haha

I love the idea, the art, and everything!! But i have to sya two things, one, i wasn't able to find tomatoes, and two, i was able to fell of the world and fall until the infinite XD.

Ah, yes. I'd just sort of hoped no one would try and scale the edges of the maps, but I suppose I should've checked that myself haha. The tomato demons were probably just on the opposite side from where you were looking. Anyways, thanks!

The idea is great! At first I was a bit confused to have the cleaver on the left while having to right click to use it, same for the gun, but that wore off after a few minutes of gameplay. The art style really fits and I got spooked a few times while turning around. The font usage is a small but noticeable touch. There were a few times were I took damages without really knowing where or who it came from despite looking around me (took damage in the kitchen too). My biggest gripe is the gun doesn't feel really good to use, a better animation can go a long way in making it fun to use.  Some quick quality of life stuff like a pause menu with escape would also be very welcome. The flamethrower idea sounds really exciting too.

So overall a fun game with a great concept and very fitting artwork, with some additional polish you can make a killer game out of it :)

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't communicate the health very well. The base takes damage when the monsters run into it, so it's unrelated to where you are as a player. I thought about adding player health too but ran out of time. Definitely could use some more polish in areas. Appreciate the feedback!

I love this game! Its so fun and addictive! Awesome use of the theme. my one complaint is that all of the enemies have the same health which led me to fall into a pattern of shoot twice then chop 3 times. I would love to play this (and maybe pay for it) as a full game.

Developer

Aww, thanks. Yeah, enemies could've used some more variety in multiple ways, but glad you enjoyed it! I'll make sure to set aside some time later to check yours out too. Cheers
