The atmosphere in this game was perfect! I felt so nervous and lonely leaving the tent to the colder haze... but the warm light of the fire was very comforting! I thought the numbers on the thermometer felt a little intense, so I was worried about how quickly it went down. Playing through it did feel like a very complete experience, which is always neat when it comes to game jams.

I feel like to boost the atmosphere, you could've added some wind noises instead of silence.
Also, I feel the furnace goes out too fast, and/or the constant need for matches is a bit hard to deal with. Every time I left to gather wood, the furnace would be out already. Also, I didn't know if there were any other matches outside the tent, but I didn't have enough time to really explore.
Also maybe each stump could give two logs instead of one, I don't know.
Other than all that, this was a really cool idea and the game looks amazing. Keep up the good work!

Loved the sound effects as it made the world feel that much colder, could've used some dramatic music though.
Managed to survive a whole night on my first try! Loved the basic gameplay you managed to create during the jam and I can imagine that gameplay evolved into something more complex if you continued working on it!

Very nice. I like the use of the theme. Using the clock as a timer has been done before, but that's ok. It's got a simple and effective gameplay loop. It took me a while to realise I could use multiple pieces of wood with one match and spent some time looking for a way to get more matches. The audio is pretty simple, but that fits the atmosphere well and the graphics are great.
