How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Elaborated on in the "about" section on the project page. But this game is set in a lab that's experienced an outbreak of an unnamed virus contained within balloons. Your job is grab the virus filled balloons before they pop and they infect the lab workers!

Great arcade style game! Simple but effective strategy when you learn you can grab balloons just by tapping X so you can move faster. excellent work!

A PICO 8 GAME (love fantasy consoles) Great game !! Love it :D Kinda hard but forgiving :)) Tho the spawn ratio of the balloon seems random ? And so at some point got 40sec for just mostly blue balloons then just green ones ? Or is it hardcoded into the rythm of the game ?
Thanks!! I've really been enjoying PICO-8, so cool! Yeah, every time a balloon spawns it has a 25% chance to be blue and 75% chance to be green

I think it could be better if the claw moved faster, so that you aren't doomed to miss balloons that are further up on the screen than others
