I really like the design of this game. The movement between different tiles of various types I thought was really cool. Harvesting plants from my backpack was really cool. The survival aspect given the theme was a really neat interpretation. Would love to see the game completed!!
Thank you very much for your review. I think the game could also have potential. I'll see if I can liven it up a bit and add a few tasks so that it becomes a real game
When I saw the tagline "turn-based tactical gardening", I knew I had to try this - and I'm glad I did! I found that food was a tad difficult to come by, resulting in each run I attempted ending via starvation. Thankfully, the apocalyptic wasteland took pity and allowed me to keep exploring indefinitely after losing all my health. Despite searching a good amount of tiles, I came up empty-handed; I was left wondering if searching was doing anything at all. I loved seeing my character randomize their appearance each restart, that was an awesome touch! The Fallout-style names for the plants was nice to see as well, this was a very well-presented game, albeit in need of some minor polish and balancing. Three runs in, however, and I still had yet to find any sort of flower. Overall, a fun experience, well done!
Thank you for trying out the game. Unfortunately I didn't finish it that weekend and unfortunately the loot wasn't displayed correctly. I've made a small update that makes everything a little easier. Maybe I'll expand the game a bit so that you have an additional goal. I think it could be quite entertaining.
