Gives me war flashbacks of TwitchPlaysPokemon
Would experience the PTSD again, 10/10
I'm glad you liked it. Looks like E.R.'s hideout.
:d
I really like the way this game looks. I got stuck a few times but I am not sure if that was me or the game, could have been me. One thing with the look, the arrow tiles could have had a little more contrast so the direction popped a bit more. When it was moving fast sometimes I would miss which direction they were facing. Still, really cool game!
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the game in general. About the arrows, I'll see how I can adjust them, because as the game is in 8 bit, it's more difficult to put a lot of detail. About the difficulty, it ended up getting difficult very quickly, due to the short period of the jam. But soon I intend to remodel the game and make several stages, where the difficulty gradually increases.
In regard to the arrows. It could be as simple as making the arrow color a little brighter or darkening the block, just to add a little contrast. The green looks good but the red and orange really blend together. Still, really cool! I get the difficulty ramp....those who played my game know lol.
well optimized game in scope of complexity and creative simple idea for the theme. with a bit extra time and testing, smaller bugs (like stuck into a wall) can be removed. For a 48 hours gamejam, this is a really great submission!
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it. Soon I will make plans for tweaks to the game, and probably more levels.
Great job!
Thank you!
Now i've gotten around to playing it. Thanks for the help!
Great concept and game, and i liked that it mixed fastpaced gameplay with puzzles. However, i often got stuck on walls, and sometimes (the very last puzzle) it was a bit too fast, i could barely think before clicking, and ended up getting through on luck pretty much.
Loved the artstyle! Awesome and easy to understand as well
Glad you liked it. In the future I will make updates to the game and probably more stages, in order to do a longer difficulty 'grinding'.
the character is invisible in the tutorial. btw this is a very difficult game
I found this bug too, but I haven't tried to solve it yet. Restarting the game already appears. Thanks for the feedback c:
I think there's some bug, because i couldn't see half of the game. It looks intriguing though, so i'd love to try again later if this problem is fixable, or if you can provide a downloadable windows copy? Artstyle and music is really good from what i saw though!
I changed the display option, now it has full screen option.
I retried but no luck. I can't see the bottom half of the screen for some reason and moving around does not help at all. :/ If you wanna look into it i can send you screenshots on discord if you message me, but it might just be a problem on my end. thanks for trying though :)
Glad you liked it. I couldn't make a tutorial in time, but in the future I will make an introduction to the commands and a tutorial to make it easier.
Graphics are good, blade sound is not sync to the visuals which is bothering for me and also I glitched through the last puzzle out of frustration but I did reach the end nontheless, good game
Thanks for the feedback. It may seem that the sound is not synchronized, as the second blade makes noise even though it is not on the screen. But I will look into this.
Pretty fun puzzle. I did figure out I could cheese the end by spamming the reverse button😄
Thanks for the feedback. This is an option :D
I wasn't able to interact with anything. Hit all the buttons and clicked everywhere
Have you tried playing through your computer's browser? The HUD on the screen has the command to identify when the keys are being pressed.
