Okay that mouth animation made me chuckle, and that's worth some points for sure.
I'm not sure if there's more to it than just trying to get away from the mouths. If there is, I missed it, because I'm awfully damn bad at getting away from them :D It's a good start towards something weird. Weird is good. Keep it up
I would love to hear the inspiration behind this(If there is any). Also the fallen teeth are a nice touch.
I was thinking of something that happened to me recently but ended up scaling back because game jams are short and also christmas left me tired. I landed on something vaguely to do with loneliness and the impracticality of forcing/controlling fate. But ultimately it's just a funny little silly game lol.
No idea what is supposed to be going on here. Why does the game open with a deck? Why are all those mouths in a bathroom? Why are they chasing the mouth that is sewn shut? Why can that mouth fire lightning bolts? It doesn't matter. I appreciate the off-the-wall weirdness of the design.
The gameplay isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. My first couple of tries, I died before I even realized that the gameplay had begun.
I'm not sure I understand the implementation of the limitation.
Sound would definitely have helped with the immersion.
Also, a button so you can restart after losing without having to reload the whole page.
The lightning is like a card effect, the deck at the start is where u get the cards from. Still doesn't make sense I know, and it's the only question I can answer for you lol. Thank you so much for persevering with the game despite how incomplete it is, will try and not let it happen again haha
