Great game. One of the best in the jam. I really love the gameplay.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it ^_^
good game, although then I stopped and somehow died, the mechanics are great, and I liked the concept.

it's perhaps not the most clear thing in the world but you magic is slowly draining (see right hand side bar). If it runs out, your bubble will pop
the graphics look weird to me. but the concept is great and the game is fun.
the graphics are a bizarre mix of 2D and 3D, so perhaps that is the issue?
In any case, I'm glad you liked the game! :D
Nice job! I enjoyed the somber guitar music and the pirate theme/story. Cool game!
The story is a bit of an afterthought to be honest. I'm glad you liked it :)
The concept is very good!
Glad you liked it. :)
Really loved the use of the bubbles following you, thought it was pretty clever that you needed those bubbles to pick up the speed boost and keys and that there was a risk from of losing then if the golden jellyfish hits them!
Interestingly, every power up in on the main menu (including the one that was cut)
Glad you liked it :)
That was fun ! The idea was very good, like really ! Veryy inventive !!
Glad you liked it :)
Great game. Awesome mechanic idea. The low-poly game assets used in 2d are cool too. I also really like the doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo when you beat a level.
yep, that little jingle is probably my favourite part of the game
Very nice idea, i'm enjoyed playing this! very good!
ty :D
Building a train of bubbles with different contents was a lot of fun, and the music was spot on. One of my favourite moments was realising that because of the order in which I'd picked up powerups I'd have to sacrifice all of my speed boost to use a key - if you ever continue this I'd love to see more levels focussing on planning what to collect and when :)
Glad you noticed. This was intentional, but I tried not to rely on the oredering too much in the end. We didn't have any kind of checkpoint system and I was trying not to make a puzzle game for once. Although, I have recieved reports that this is still a puzzle game... whoops
Really like the mechanic where you use the bubbles to collect items. Turns a simple concept into alot of fun. The visuals all look great as well, the deep, under water feel is there and strong! It's really complimented in the music as well. Great game.
ty for your feedback on the game :) Now it's up to me to test your game xD
I had a lot of fun playing this game! I really liked the concept and the fact way you implemented the limitation. I feel that the game looks a little rushed though, and kind of like a bunch of different stiles. Some art assets look 3d, and some look 2d, so it's a little off-putting
It is true that we hurried a lot on level 4 and that we abandoned certain elements of the gameplay (the soap was to serve as a power up and there had to be fish and a possible level 5 with these elements , ty for your feedback: D
Oh yes, very very rushed. I had work on the friday and it was everyone's first time entering a game jam as part of a team. (which is more of a logistical nightmare than one might think).
Glad you enjoyed the concept :)
Looks weird but fun to play.
That's exactly the response I always hope for when I make games. Thank you very much :)
I enjoyed playing this one. I like how you can pick up different objects in the bubbles to affect the playability. Nice touch! The music was good too, perhaps a few more sound fx but overall I enjoyed playing.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. There was a lot that had to be cut due to time, so it's very nice to hear it wasn't a complete disaster ^_^
Yeaaah intended to implement sfx for movement, addition of bubbles and a few other instances- guess it got lost with the time closing in on us..
