my little doggo was very confused at the sounds, so i got to hear some additional doggy sounds while playing :3

Really cute game! the story what litter there was, was very cute and endearing. Great work. The gameplay was pretty simple since it was mostly just avoiding the soldiers, I think their AI would need some work as they are easy to stack up into a single small horde. But as far as first jam games, this was great work!

I agree the enemies are pretty basic, I did a few other types that were less successful.
I hope to make smarter AI someday.
The sound effects where really funny. it definitely fits the "big monster" theme of the jam, but for me it doesn't satisfy the "death isn't the end" subtheme, since dying feels like "the end". Congrats on first game jam submission !

The game does have a cutscene ending for folks who score enough points.
But yeah I do feel it wasn't quite interesting enough for the "death isn't the end" limitation.

A surprisingly nice game, with a nice implementation of the limitation, the sound affects/music were a nice silly touch that makes you remember that this is a dream and not reality, good game
