Use of the limitation
When I heard one level, I thought of a boss fight. I also wanted to test an idea with a frog boss fight. So I used the limitation of one level to create a one screen boss fight style game.

This is a really cool game concept -very challenging and fun! Great work!! :D
The operation mode is a good idea.
Difficult to control the dragonfly! Almost impossible to escape if not lucky enough .
You know after so many frog games I was surprised to see the frog be the bad guy! Fun game, would steal cheese again.
We like the concept! But we found frustrating that when you finally are rotated to the right angle suddenly and with no escape the tongue takes you out!
Fun game! I found out that smacking yourself off the side of the level makes you spin a lot faster, making the character much more agile. Good concept, I think the frog's tongue is a bit too hard to dodge though, it became almost random when I would get eaten. Perhaps some indicator of where it's going to go would be a good addition.
Nice clean art style, chill game, would play again :D
(If you could try out my game it'd be greatly appreciated 😁)
Very hard because of the lack of control on the speed of the rotation or any telegraphing by the enemy regarding the tongue position. Other than that, interesting.
Yeah, I've been told that people were having a lot of trouble navigating the actual dragonfly. I probably should also have made the frog actually point in the vicinity of where he was going to shoot, but I overlooked a lot of aspects related to that. I hope the game brought at least some enjoyment, and if you have any more ways to make the frog boss better just reply back. (I will try to fix most issues when making the boss again for my main project)
It's the first game of the jam I tried in which the frog isn't the main character, so that's very original! what would make the fight better is definitely a way of telling where the frog is gonna attack next, and allowing the player to choose a direction. (I died multiple times because the dragonfly was rotated towards the tongue when it attacked, so i couldn't avoid it) Overall really nice concept, Rated :)
