WELCOME!

Mini jam is a 72-hour-long, game development jam for independent game developers that occurs every two weeks.

Mini Jam involves a required condition that is announced as soon as it starts to spice things up. Remember, limitation breeds creativity.
You get the theme early so you can plan ahead, Just keep the limitation in mind. This jam's theme is FUTURE. Remember, theme is purely inspirational and not required. Feel free to interpret it however you want.

LIMITATION!

The limitation is a special condition that your game must follow, but is open to interpretation. If your game does not follow the limitation, it may be removed.

The limitation is: All games must use the same colo(u)r palette.

This pretty much explains itself; your game must use this lovely color palette by GrafxKid Twitter - Itch
You may not use un-indexed anti-aliasing or alpha channels.

Q: Can I use graphical filters and other post processing effects?
A: Yes, as long as all graphics use the color palette.

Q: Can we use normal albedo shading?
A: No, either use cel shading with just the colors of the palette or unlit shader.

Q: Can we have lights that change the colors in the scene?
A: You can have lights but you have to use cel shading (with just the colors from the palette) to shade objects in your scene.

Q: Can I use post processing?
A: Yes, as long as the effects still use the same color palette.

Q: Is this Black, White, and the color palette?
A: No, your game sticks to the palette and the palette alone.

Q: I don't like these colors, can I choose my own?
A: Your game must follow the given limitation. You would have known that had you read the rules.
