I think this is one of the few times where I would say there are too many levels. For a short jam people aren't expecting to play a ton of levels. I thing polishing some of the other stuff would be a better idea. Such as dying allowing you to restart from that level and a next level option. Either way could job on your first jam! And I liked the simple platformer

Thank you for your comment on this game. I made a lot of levels because I had a lot of unique level ideas for the game, but I still agree with you there are indeed alot of levels. Thanks for your commen

Considering that this is your first jam, I definitely liked the simplicity of this game. It was interesting to see phyics presented with the square object. I definitely really liked how you could use the physics to jump across more distant platforms. I feel the gameplay was smooth and I only noticed a few bugs in the future levels. There was a bug where the jump button wasn't functioning correctly on the flipping the screen level. The sound to imply you've died was okay but I still feel it didn't fit the theme. I would've liked to have seen more design in the tiles to show them as futuristic or something like that. I definitely wish the level selection screen was not mandatory to go from level to level. I also didn't agree with the death screen being the color you chose as it does not corrospond well with the blue background. I highly recommend looking at a color wheel to find what colors go well together. It's very important in game design in terms of presentation and can really help your game stand out from the others. The tutorial level definitely served its purpose but I would've preferred if the text would show up slowly and not just be a lot of text to look at. The color limitation is understandable but I still feel you had enough of a variety to choose from. The level design was okay, I liked some levels but others definitely looked rushed but it's not your fault though. I understand if level design was something you left until the last few hours or minutes. I just hope you continue entering game jams because you will definitely profone these skills as time goes on. I liked what you presented us, thanks for making this game! :) Feel free to also check out our submission if you want to that is :P

I suggest to compile a web version, so that everyone can easily try. I use a mac, can't try your game.

I know you said this was your first jam, but I really liked this game. The only real critiques I have are 1. I was wishing that beating a level would load me into the next one, and 2. The orange death screen was a kinda jarring transition from the blue, especially in fullscreen (I know we were limited on colors, but the jump in saturation was really the only issue). Both are pretty minor and didn't detract much from the experience. I loved that there was an actual tutorial and that there were so many unique levels. Great work.

Thanks for your comment. Probably the biggest reason I didn't implement the go to the next level button is because again this was my first Jam and I probably panicked that I am not going to finish it in time so ye. the orange death screen was probably because of my bad game design but oh, well, we all have to start somewhere. Thanks again!
