This was a fun puzzle game, I really had fun playing it. The last mechanic you introduced was a bit tricky for me to understand, do you keep the last 2 colours you’ve switched to, or is it something else?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! The idea is that only certain colors can be stacked together at one time, if you pick up a different color than whats allowed for stacking, the new color replaces everything. There was a tip at the top left but as noted by other commenters it was hard to notice :)

Clever theme implementation! The mazes are overwhelming which isn't a bad thing in this case — very well done! Your introduction to the colored doors could be improved though.

Developer(+1)

Haha thanks... Funny thing is the doors were a last minute addition so I definitely agree that they should be introduced better XD Thanks for playing!

Really nice game! I really enjoyed the concept, art style, and the music in the game, it's all very charming! Short but sweet, however, I did run into one bug where I got softlocked on the final level, here's the video of it lol

Hahahahahah omg XD Thanks for the video, I think I know exactly why that happened, I'll fix it after voting period ends hahahah

Thanks for playing!

Great concept and use of the 4 colors. I was thinking the game might be too easy at first, but the stacking colors + complex large area combination especially on the last level presented a nice challenge. Wish I could play more levels!

Developer

Thank you! More levels is on my list post-jam haha.. Thanks for playing!

That was a neat game and clever usage of the 4 color limitation. I could say I was calculating the solution to the puzzle. Not sure if I missed something in the earlier levels, but I didn't know you can stack colors until I encountered a level where I needed to exactly just that.

Overall, really solid puzzle game.

Developer

Yes the color stacking into does need improvement :) Good feedback, thanks for playing!

A simple game, but it works very well. The visuals were nice too. Good job!

Developer

Yes I kept it simple because of the time limit, thanks for playing!

This was a cool idea and great use of the theme!  Stacking the colors was cool and definitely got challenging!  Fun game -great work! :D

Good to know you liked it, thanks for playing!

It’s a short experience, but really fun, the sound effects are pretty funny.

Developer

Haha glad you liked them, thanks for playing!

Nice game you have. It's funny how the sfx is kinda random, like different musical instruments stuff ;)) At first I got stuck and thought the level is unbeatable, but then I saw the clue and follow it. If I have one note, it would be that some visual cues for players to know that they are at that moment holding two colors at the same time - right now it's a bit vague and I missed it completely on my first attempt. I really like the game, very well-thought level design, I really enjoyed it. Hope you do well on upcoming games too!

Developer(+1)

Haha thanks, clearer visual cues are definitely on my list of things to improve post-jam. Great feedback, thanks for playing!

Pretty fun maze, first I didn't get that I need to summarize colors at some level, but then I saw hint at the corner. Nice!

Developer

Haha glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!

That was a really fun game! The puzzles were pretty easy but fun and I really liked the addition mechanic. I do think the doors are unnecessary tho, I'm pretty sure you can achieve the same thing by having regular paint instead of doors

Developer

That's a good point to consider, thanks for playing!

Good quality puzzle maze game. Some of the levels were challenging but achievable.

Developer(+1)

Good to know you think so! Thanks for playing!

At first I thought It was really simple and easy, but the more I progressed, It got more complicated

It was fun and enjoyable. Some sound effects are a little too high and It gets a little annoying, but despite that, I really liked it

Developer(+1)

Haha sorry about the sound effects, I wanted to make it a bit more entertaining to play because it was lacking in difficulty and other areas. I should have lowered the volumes though

Good feedback, thanks for playing!

Really cool game! The level designs are great and the mechanics are well made!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!

Cool game! You did a good job with the level design, especially in the beginning teaching the players concepts. I think it might be a bit better to have all floors act as gates, instead of resetting to the beginning if you touch the wrong color. It made it a little treacherous to navigate at times. Awesome job!!

Developer

Good feedback, thanks for playing!

I think this is the best designed puzzle game I have played so far. I understand you where developing it solo so you may not of really cared about the graphics but clean up the graphics  and it did take me a minute to realize that you can combine colors. the indicator at the top was not that apparent to me. If you cleaned it up a little bit and ad some more levels this would be a really great puzzle game. also, I really enjoyed that there felt like a little bit of a skill aspect when it comes to the movement.

Great Job!

Developer

Haha yeah this is my first attempt at making a tileset and the prototype just became the final product lmao. Good feedback, thanks for playing!

One of the best entry on this jam. Love the level, love the puzzle. Great job!!!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Oh thanks! Glad it was enjoyable enough, thanks for playing!

really fun concept for a puzzle game, the in built tutorialisation in the first few levels is really good but it took me a minute to figure out stacking the colours. enjoyed this quite a bit!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, good to know the mechanics were understood ahah. Good feedback, thanks for playing!
