It's simple, but to be honest I really liked it. Main QoL feature I think could be easily fixed is that cyan/blue and green are just way too similar; sometimes I can't tell whether I'm picking up/feeding blue or green. Is there any reason not to make them more contrasting colors, like yellow or red?
But I loved the gameplay, was surprisingly fun. Great job
Thank you, that's very kind!
That's a good note about the colors. Everything was a lot sharper in the editor, it loses a lot of fidelity when played in the browser. A lesson learned for next time.
Quite an interesting game! Kind of lacks a tutorial, but still very promising and fun once you get the hang of it!
Well, to be honest, I didn't understand why the blue star always flies away? I really tried, but it seems like it's higher than the pieces of the star I'm releasing... But the idea itself is cool. An interesting game!
The blue sun is actually shrinking, but I can see why you think it's flying away, haha! Perspective! It shrinks faster than the other suns.
That's a good note, though, I had not even thought about that.
Such a different idea! Love of different this is!
The picking up of the energy packs and firing them at the suns is very satisfying ☀️
very creative and new idea!
Concept and mission is pretty fun! The music and graphics are pretty nice and fitting. Enjoyed the hoop switching between modes of collecting and firing, however I didn't quite understand what I was meant to be picking up visually as the energy packets aren't very clear. Still cool tho!
I totally agree with you. It looked great in the editor, but in the browser, there's a definite decrease in the quality of the graphics, and it's harder to see things. Lesson learned for next time. Thanks for the feedback!
