Only got to 2500 but yesss I love this kind of game! Very easy and relaxing to play, and the satisfaction from putting the right piece at exactly the optimal place is unmatched. I really liked your little comments on the score at the end ^^

Very nice game, I just tested a fast-paced stressful game and this was very nice to come back from the adrenaline. Very good job!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing! 2500 is not bad! I'm glad that it helped you reduce the adrenaline from the previous games!

Nice relaxing game! The movement was very snappy, and it felt really good to play. I wasn't able to score as high as some of the people here, but I still had a great time! Nice job!

Hey buddie, I've spent a good time playing your creation... I would like to know if any other huma being has reached 3040 points!!!!!! If you don't believe me, here is a screenshot. If you think I've cheated, come to Buenos Aires and prove it. A big hug from an old friend... Like Rancid's song.

Ladú's world

Can anyone beat me?
Developer

🤯 3040? How did you do that?

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!

2880. This concept is brilliant, I love. The assets look super nice BUT (a very little but) some pieces are really small and it was hard to figure out for me if there were toys or plants.

Super relaxing with the only wave sounds a very descent plaecment sounds. Such a great job, congratulations.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback😊. I will definitely make the toy assets bigger. 2880 is a great score! I’m glad you liked it and found it relaxing.

One suggestion is to add some indication of how good the player's final score is versus what a perfect score could be. For example 0-500: poor, 500-1000: good, 1000+ excellent.

Also would be good if the rotate keys were closer to the place key (using US keyboard layout).

Nice art style and I like the relaxed pace.

Developer

Glad you liked it! Showing how good you did is an amazing idea. I will definitely implement this in a future version. Thanks for playing!

Very cute and relaxing game with a solid execution, the main mechanic is simple on paper but can lead to some strategic choices I feel.  I think a preview of the next piece (a la tetris) could help in that regard, just a though

Developer

Yes I love that idea. Seeing next piece will surely add strategic value and its super easy to implement. Thanks for playing 😁

Interesting game, great job! Perhaps you should change the control from Z to a space :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! I can definitely add Space as an alternative key for placing. Thanks for your suggestion!

I love this game, this is definitely the most unique game idea I've seen so far on this GameJam! Really fun to play

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much! I'm happy you had fun playing it! :)

Now the summer and vacation vibe set in 100 %. Very nice and cozy game - peaceful! And really nicely done, nice gfx and smooth controls! Good job!

Developer

Thank you very much! Glad to hear you liked it  :D

Very relaxing game, with some nice strategy aspects about where you place tiles to get more points in the future, definitely would like to see an expanded version of this game.  The only thing I would say is some of the models are a bit small, but that doesn't detract from the gameplay at all.

Great work!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it and appreciate your feedback. Will definitely take it into consideration if I expand the game in the future (which I would love to).

Very cute, love the graphics and the relaxing sound. Fun little puzzle game, felt a bit like tetris trying to arrange the pieces together. I liked the sideways palm trees, haha

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and for taking time to review my game!

(+1)

So cool! I hope this will be a full game?

Developer(+1)

I would like to expand it a liitle bit. The biggest thing I want to change is the randomness (which makes the game a little bit unfair if you had bad luck). Glad you liked it!

Presentation is over the top! There is a tiny grain of sand (salt? - well, I want to intend a pun here, so I decide: sand is good :-D) - some objects are too small. But this is a tiny tiny detail, it doesn't  even do a scratch on the 5* rating.

Also love the chill beach surge sound!

Developer

Thank you so much for your review! I really wanted the game to be chill and I'm happy that you felt that way while playing it. It's true that the shells and the bucket are super small. Thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Oh my god this game looks amazing. It reminded me of tetris but 100 times more chill, which I absolutely LOVED

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you enjoyed it :)

Great presentation, very chill and zen. Just as the other said all it needs is the camera. But other than that, great game

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it :)

Very cool game!

How to 10x your game:

  • Add Camera Movement so you can see the island from more than one perspective
Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Glad you liked it. I added the camera movement as suggested. It follows your cursor, but then you are free to see the island when you finish.

Submitted(+1)

Really clean and simple art style. some form of camera movement could really help or if you want keep it fixed maybe you could try the isometric view as the placement would be easier for the player. and one more thing for the controls moving the placement from Z to Space key or another key that is easier to reach would be great.

Solid base game you could really polish and take it further, congrats!

Developer(+1)

Will definitely add camera movement. I was thinking that the camera should follow the cursor.

Thanks for taking time to review my game!

Gameplay is very simple but it's presented well and looks very nice, pretty fun!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)

Interesting concept, i wasnt sure at first what the colours where, until i noticed a few slight changes.

Only feedback id have, would be to be able to move the camera, and remove the turns. (and also reduce the size of the game, it didnt fit on my screen)

It makes it less "relaxing" if were under pressure.

Other then that, great work, great style.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely implement the camera movement!
