The game was pretty cute, but I was kinda missing some background music. However, the noisy post-processing effect was pretty neat and added to the presentation. It was pretty fun trying to collect as many coins as possible before running out of fuel so you could upgrade your stuff.
I thought it was especially clever how you handled the spawning of rocks and how they moved with you until the last moment before dropping down. Overall, really well done in the end!
Fun simple game to play when your bored, perfect! :D Only complaint I have is that I wish it followed the limitation more innovatively.
I put all of my money into speed over and over until I eventually broke the game! What a thrilling experience. I went so fast eventually I couldn't avoid the asteroids at all, so the only way to get past them was to put more money into speed. I guess I eventually reached light speed and was able to warp through the asteroids and land in the abyss of coins. By this point the game was mostly frozen but occasionally I'd see my points go up. I hold onto that spacebar for my dear life until eventually I heard the death sound and as you can see it completely froze trying to open the shop. 10 out of 10. Wild ride start to finish. I feel like an intergalactic explorer. Here is a picture to prove I went over the edge into the abyss of coins.
Managed to get a score of 1475! Really clean execution here, I like the escalation dynamic of buying more speed gains you higher score quicker but makes meteors a much bigger threat; you're practically dodging the warning symbols at the higher speed counts. Simple concept that's polished well, great work!
I really liked it, just a simple little game. Although I think one exploit is that you gain more height by just tapping the space bar, then letting the momentum take you up, then pressing space again. Still very fun tho
Cool game, I always like these upgrade-based games, we even made one ourselves. I would have liked to see the ability to buy a weapon or some armor to be able to better deal with all the meteors. It seems like the best strategy for points would be high fuel with minimal speed to easily avoid obstacles.
Game UI doesnt work in WebGL? Might just be me but the upgrade selection isnt working? If you need to press a certain key lemme know and I'll replay, overall fun game, lots of potential, little like kerbal space program where you fly up and make achievements to fund your rocket!
Holy s*** you can go fast! I love the aesthetic. The filter you use fits perfectly. There comes a point where you go so fast that it becomes unplayable, but despite that, it's still quite enjoyable to see how fast you can go. Great Job!
Very fun game. Remind-me the old flash games that i used to play early 2000. Simple and well executed.

Fun game! I had a good time playing it! The speed upgrade makes it a bit hard to avoid meteors.
this game is really enjoyable, the concept isnt very orignal, the presentation is good, and the use of limitation isnt very revolutionary like everyone elses game, also while submitting your game, in the "Use of the limitation" rubric, you were supposed to say how did you interpret the limitation and how did you include it into the game,
I love games where I get to upgrade things :) Definitely had a fun time with this and totally didn't spam upgrade speed till I flew incredibly fast over and over.. heh.. heh..
