Nice base. The constant blinking sound was a bitt annoying over a longer period of time. What was there, worked fine so far, nice job.

I really don't know how is the impact in the gameplay of being attacked to be honest. However, the sound effects are pretty cool.

This game was super cute! I really like the graphics and feel of the game. Pico 8 games are very charming. The mechanic was super good and fun. It felt like a rhythm game. I loved whacking those blobs with my sword and the satisfying animation and sound that would play every time I button mashed. My one suggestion would be to add a difficulty progression or ending. I got to a score over 150 and I didn't lose any lives.
