As you might be able to tell from my entry I've always enjoyed unusual and flexible movement mechanics, and this game definitely has that! I do agree with your comment mentioning that the different food types may not be impactful enough, but theres definitely a lot of potential in the core gameplay, and overall I had fun - nice job :)

I love how the physics of the game adds some spontaneity to the game play. The graphics are great, and the music and sound effects are charming. Good job!

Maybe I missed something but, playing on MacOS and I can't move at all :/

Developer(+1)

I see, is windows left click input and MacOS' mouse click different? That could be why it wasn't moving on yours, or maybe unity didn't build correctly for MacOS but I doubt it. Wish I could test this but I don't have a Mac. Thanks for the useful feedback! I'll definitely look into this.

I enjoyed the movement, I think if that was expanded upon it could make for a really neat movement mechanic. Overall pretty good, I just had a hard time figuring out what to do.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah I felt if there were some customization for the controls it'd be a really nice mechanic, but time constraints was looming over me. As long as you avoid chocolates and anything purple, you should be able to survive longer.

Submitted

I don't really understand what object does. I know that chocolate will make me lose 1 hp, and nothing more.
Overall it's a fun little game and I enjoyed it at last. Great work :)

Thanks for playing!

White chocolate would make you lose 1 HP, orange = lose 2 HP, purple = lose 3 HP

Fish would increase/decrease the cat's movement speed but the values I used seems to be too low.

As for milk, it's supposed to make the screen go white making it harder to see, but right now the values I used for them is 100% too small.

fun and unique concept

Interesting concept, though im not sure what really anything does, and the mouse controls felt very sensitive

Developer

Yeah the controls could feel very sensitive since you can change your direction by 180 degrees by just moving a few pixels, I never thought of that when I play tested it.

Chocolate decreases your HP since they are poisonous to cats.

Interesting concept; the game's controls felt a little finicky at times, but other than that a good experience!
