I liked the visual style of the game and the endless gameplay, I did not expect that every $100 will be resurrection and burned again :(
Great game, really liked the gameboy art
Wow, it wasn't easy, but it was fun! Unfortunately the resurrection didn't work.
Thank you! That does seem to randomly happen but it's not common. Restarting almost always seems to fix the issue, so I'd recommend giving it one more go
A very polish game ! I love the gameboy color and the sound . As you have said the obstacle generatin have a few flaw. I get a zigzag ladder that I cannot out run the fire. Sometimes the safe (the block that you can not go past ) stack on each other, create a long safe, if it is not intended.
Thank you! Thanks for the feedback on the bugs - unfortunately it seems these little quirks are more common than I initially thought, so I might have to take the time to fix them at some point
Heh- a fun time really well presented!
First time I was too considerate of throwing the boxes off and ended up burning up pretty quick. But I learned not to care much about my job and focus on escaping - only incidentally chucking the odd box too save my future :)
that's the spirit!
good concept and great presentation and sounds. reached 200$, the dying mechanic and rewinding fire feels good.
I was enjoying this game, but it was definitely hard to keep ahead of the fire and still pick up any boxes. I kept pressing down a second time to try to throw them instead of up, so that didn't help.
Ultimately, I enjoyed the Gameboy aesthetic and had a lot of fun, but my game ended when I got to this ladder next to an obstacle. I wasn't able to climb down it, but the fire also wasn't able to reach me. There I stand, forever immortal.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! But yes, the obstacle generation has a few obvious flaws... That's an interesting note about the controls, I should've have thought about that being more intuitive - thanks for the idea
Wow, got real enjoyment from this game!
Kinda hardcore, I should say, but very high quality for such a short jam!
Thank you haha! I think I might have made the fire a bit too manic...
