Use of the limitation
almost everything in the game is killable with the exception being the UI and the bullets themselves. Originally the UI was meant to be killable with whole mechanics added to it, but due to some issues it could not be done.

The music goes hard! I like the intro cinematic too.

I really like the little starting launch scene, but the music was a little frantic for me.

A nice callback to the retro games of this genre.

I think, like someone else has mentioned, the enemy density is a bit much. Also, whatever is spawning the enemies is a bit off, because if you move to the far right, nothing ever hits you.

Also, the red missile stuff seems to stop spawning after a while? And it might just be my PC, but after a while, it starts really chugging on this. A wild guess would be that the spawned enemies are never destroyed if they go past the player?

There is a barrier under the screen that kills all enemies that touch it, but it might be broken (it was a last second addition, we are sorry for the inconvinience!

I loved the starting cut scene where your jet zips out of the flying fortress from a distance. The gameplay was fun, but the enemies seemed to come out too fast and packed together, so it was hard to get going.

very nostalgic, thanks for submitting. more variety of enemy types would have been nice, and some sense of progress (score, “checkpoints” etc). the music was awesome!

thanks! more enemy types were planned (such as a missile that locked on you can see in the art, and a ray of light that insta killed anything inside it that would appear later) but thanks to a lack of communication, our designer and only "programmer " (for this project) focused more on the green ships and purple "hammer-ships".

We at least hope you enjoyed the art and music to compensate for the gameplay!

The game seems to display the ship's health incorrectly. In general, the game is quite stylized, enemies have interesting attacks, the game can be easily deceived by shooting at one point, enemies take damage while outside the screen. I would like to see the score. Pleasant music is original in the style of retro games.
