I liked the animation for puffing blood. I didn't understand how to play the game. I guess you have to avoid the cameras, but I got stuck on the second level. Some instructions on how to play would be good, if not in the game, at least in the description on itch.
basic mechanic is shown in the controls tab but yeah we didn't make it clear enough.
You puff blood to make yourself more powerful. If you don't puff you become a bat.
I understood the controls, but I didn't understand the mechanics. Are the cameras supposed to kill you every time? The first camera on the second level doesn't. How can I tell if I will overdose on blood if I can't see the full bar on the right? Why can't my character pass through the corridor in the first level?
The cameras are supposed to kill you, yes. When you go under 20% you become a bat making your hitbox smaller thus you can go through smaller openings. When you get over 80% blood you can start moving the white boxes/fridges around. If you puff over 100% you die so you have to try to balance it. Game is wack af we know there are many problems with it.
I can't push the white box all the way to the end of the hallway on the first stage, even with high blood level. It was a really cool concept though. I love the graphics of the vampire puffing blood.
thanks for the feedback. This was our first game as a small team and we clearly aren't cut out for such short jams
