Use of the limitation
In our game, bombs are powered by health. Bigger bombs cost more health and are more destructive, while smaller bombs cost less health and are bouncier.

Thank god i didn't miss this one! The shooting and resizing mechanic felt smooth and polished, destroying the enviroment and the nest felt really good and planning for good shots while managing health was fun! Overall great submission! A feedback i could give, although idk if it would make it too easy, is showing some parts of the trajectory line other than just its range, possibly not so easy to program for just 3 days though...
Fun little game, with a nice variety of levels that support a strong central mechanic. I ended up brute forcing a route straight down on my first playthrough, before realising I could get a much more effecient strategy by using the bounces.
Little details like the level select screen utilising the main mechanic are great, and give a whole lot of charm to the experience :)
Loved the music and sfx too - is it original?
As others have said, would love to see more levels if you were to continue this post-jam! Would also love to see a scoring system - maybe the player's remaining health at the end of each level to encourage seeking out optimal strategies and murdering the yellow scorpions?
Thank you so much! The music and sfx came from an audio library website called Soundsnap. Thanks for the suggestion about the scoring system, makes perfect sense!
Good to know on the music - it's well chosen, fits perfectly :)
Very fun arcadey game! The bomb size mechanic was really cool and the level design was generally quite well done. Great stuff!!
Good work! i would have liked some more levels! some that are a bit more challenging.
i like the sounds, scorpions looked nice, but where meh, i didnt really need any more health, and blue ones didnt affect me.
Best game i have tried in jam so far, pretty good game feel with a bit of tactical thinking, love the game
All around very solid game, gameplay mechanics feel very polished. Probably a bit too easy, but that's better than being too hard. Meant I was able to finish the game while it was still exciting and without any frustration.

Really cool game, very good use of the limitation. I like the art, but the bazooka feels very out of place; it would be nice if it was also pixel art style. Other than that great game.
Really cool idea, but should have used more stone blocks,
since I could just use the medium-big bombs to shoot straight down and clear the level.
I enjoyed playing it :0
many of the levels can be one-shot with the smallest of the bombs, so the variable size often goes unused. when it is useful, i think it would be nice to keep the player’s size selection when the next bomb loads!
Thanks for playing! We thought about that feature, would definitely implement in the future!
